President Tinubu Remains Fully Active After Brief Loss of Balance in Türkiye

 

President Bola Tinubu remains in good health and is fully carrying out his official duties in Türkiye despite online claims suggesting otherwise. The Presidency says the brief moment where the President appeared to stumble during a welcome ceremony in Ankara had nothing to do with his health.

Officials explained that the incident happened because of a badly arranged blue carpet at the venue which caused a slight misstep. The President quickly regained his balance and continued with the event without any assistance or delay.

Following the ceremony Tinubu went ahead with all activities lined up for the state visit. He is actively engaged in bilateral discussions with Turkish government officials focused on strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between both countries.

The President is also scheduled to appear alongside his Turkish counterparts for a joint press briefing after the meetings. According to the Presidency he has remained energetic alert and in high spirits throughout the visit.

The government has urged Nigerians to ignore rumours and speculations surrounding the President’s wellbeing stressing that there is no health concern and that Tinubu is fully fit and focused on his responsibilities.
